Responsabilidades laborales
Realizar inspecciones de múltiples puntos

Assistant Service Manager
Don McGill Toyota Houston has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced Assistant Service Manager. The ASM acts as liaison between the client and the service technician, and works with the call center in scheduling service for clients. The ASM also works with the technician team to ensure work is distributed equitably among service technicians.
Job Responsibilities
Greets Service Department clients in a prompt and courteous manner 100% of the time, and never differentiate between customer pay and warranty service clients
Listens to each client and clearly articulate information on the repair order
Satisfies client's immediate needs, use low key, high integrity methods to present additional needed services
Observes factory suggestions on maintenance items and advise clients of the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturer's specifications
Presents a menu of recommended maintenance and additional services to every client
Ascertains the needs of clients, collecting information necessary for service or repair diagnosis
Provides clients with an accurate estimate of repair or maintenance costs, and/or a minimal diagnostic fee with explanation of associated costs
Writes Repair Orders, detailing problems and pertinent information, and secure clients’ signature for authorization of repair or service
Maintains strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation
Informs clients of repair diagnosis, sell repairs and services needed or required for proper operation
Forwards repair or service estimate changes to client following technician's diagnosis
Sells and manages extended warranties and complete required documentation
Inspects quality of vehicles following repairs of service to verify that all authorized work is performed and performed properly in the effort to reduce rechecks
Follows up progress of each repair order during the day and contact clients by phone or e-mail twice daily to notify them of any changes to the status or estimated time of completion of their repair, and document changes on repair order
Replies to voice and e-mail messages in a timely manner where either internal or external clients are concerned
Notifies clients when repairs are completed and vehicle is ready for delivery
Reviews and explains repairs and associated costs with client upon completion of service
Documents verbal, in person, and written approvals on repair orders and add-on sales
Advises clients of potential consequences if repairs are not made
Handles minor client concerns or misunderstandings
Keeps Service Manager informed of all problems and potential problems involving clients, repairs, and equipment
Notifies technicians of changes to repair status
Encourages clients to complete the manufacturer surveys to provide feedback
Coordinates work overflow
Maintains a readable status sheet (route sheet) of carryover vehicles and status of clients in for repairs
Maintains a record of status of special order parts
Maintains required Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) rating in accordance with dealership standards
Maintains required hours per repair order (HPR) in accordance with dealership standards
Attends weekly department meetings
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Service Porter
The Service Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the operation of a Service Department. This position interacts daily with Customers, Technicians, Service Manager, Service Associates, Collision Center Manager, Parts Associates, Cashiers, Sales Associates and Managers, just to name a few.

Pick up from and deliver customers to desired locations
Pick up and deliver vehicles to sublet vendors and customers as directed
Move vehicles from intake area to storage area
Move vehicles inside and outside of Service Center to help achieve production standards
Maintain neat and orderly production and paint areas by sweeping, removal of trash and discarded parts as well as other actions required to maintain the appearance of the production and paint areas
Maintain other areas of the Service Center such as the offices, storage areas and around the outside of the Department
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
Save and tag all warranty parts for storage

Prepares daily bank deposits
Processes and receives Finance and Insurance (F&I) and necessary sales monies
Knows and understands extended service policies, and processes extended warranty payments for repair orders
Assists in scheduling courtesy transportation
Processes mail
Assists receptionist with phone calls

Maintain receiving and shipping records
Break out and organize shipments, ready for stocking
Assist in putting up stock
Assist in maintenance of bins and equipment
Assist in arrangement of department, including movement of bins as needed
Supervise returned parts and maintain separate storage area for such parts
Keep all bins, aisles and storage areas clean and clearly labeled

Express Maintenance Technician (Entry Level) – Automotive

Based on experience pay range is $10 - $13 per hour
Job Responsibilities
Perform multipoint inspections
Communicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors
Service universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles using hand- or compressed-air powered grease guns
Inspect fluid levels in steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions, differentials, rear axle housings and shackles
Check tire pressure
Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil
Add water to radiator and battery
Replace oil and air filters
Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conduct
Follow dealership safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and harsh chemicals
Qualifications
Must meet dealership’s requirements for employment
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and information
Familiarity with all aspects of automotive repair/maintenance
Must have a valid driver license and be able to operate manual transmissions
Prior experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice preferred
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Occasional exposure to inclement weather
Ability to operate an automobile
Prolonged periods of standing, stooping and bending
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Requires a significant amount of walking and/or standing. May also require working in the seated position for long periods while operating controls with arms and legs. This position may also require working at a production pace while pushing and/or pulling materials from place to place.
